An after-hours emergency related to a health and safety issue or non-payment of contractual fees, which cannot wait until a Business Rep is available on the next business day, may be reported by calling the National Office at 1-800-387-1856 (416-867-9165 in Toronto).
Press '4' when you hear the auto-attendant and leave a detailed message when prompted. Your call will be responded to as soon as possible.
HAVEN Helpline
Harassment, Anti-Racism and Violence Emergency Network (HAVEN) is a resource hub and online reporting platform for Equity members and non-members to report abuse of power, bullying, discrimination (including, but not limited to, acts of ableism, ageism, racism, or sexism), harassment or sexual harassment, reprisal or violence in the workplace. Artists working on an Equity contract can use the HAVEN Online form to share information confidentially or anonymously with the Association, and request follow-up assistance from an Equity Respectful Workplace Advisor, if needed. This service may also be used to report historical incidents.
The HAVEN Helpline is fully confidential within the limits of the law.
If you are in an emergency situation, call 911.
HAVEN is a joint initiative between Equity, ACTRA and the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) to provide an industry-wide critical incident reporting platform (note that no personal data is shared between Associations).
